Multi-use products!

Lets face it, we’re in a recession… nobody wants to shell out more pennies on more make up products for the summer! So fear not, I’ve devised a list of some of my favourite multi-use products that double up as lips, cheeks and even cream eye shadows! There’s no rules in Make Up, so dig out the products you’ve already bought and make full use of them!

  

1)   Fardell Paints

This is the perfect multi use product that will last you a very long time. I’ve been using it as an eyeshadow, mixing them up to make beautiful blushers or even flicking them on the face for a fashion look. They come in a range colours and are also amazing on darker skin tones!

2)   MAC Temperature rising bronzer in Soft Sand

This is such a beautiful bronzer if you find most bronzers are too dark or orange for your skin. It’s great as a buildable contour or as a wash of golden eye shadow for summer or an all over light fixing to your base instead of powder!

3)   HD Brows Pro Palette

This is now a staple in my kit, there is a colour to contour every skin tone in this palette! I use it for everything, to fill in brows, contour all around the face and also it’s an amazing socket definer!

4)   MAC Lipglass

Or any clear lip gloss really, this is amazing as it’s super thick! Now, I know this isn’t for an every day wearable look but for any make up artists looking for some great ideas for a shoot- Clear gloss on the eyelids and swept through the brows can be the perfect to create that high-end editorial look and obviously on the lips!

5)   Clinique Moisture face masque

This face masque is amazing overnight for dehydrated skin!! This is also the perfect moisturiser for dry skin on a daily basis. I love smothering it on my clients after long flights for an instant pick me up.

6) Who doesn’t own a can of hairspray?! A great tip is to keep your brow comb by your toothbrush and every morning spray them into place to encourage them to grow neatly.
