Bourjois bb cream foundation

I have to share with you this fantastic product!!!!
It is the bb cream foundation from Bourjois, designed to give you a blemish free skin tone with radiance and health oozing from every pore. I myself am loving it!

It comes with a sponge to apply but I personally like to use my fingers to pat it on. I don't apply it everywhere and in fact I like to use it over foundation to touch up in any areas that need a little extra coverage or smoothing over. This is generally over the t-zone and the front panels of the face. You don't need powder as it dries into the skin but yet doesn't feel dry.... It's quite genius how it works and difficult to explain.

I have also found that this is my new must have for covering under eye grey and brightening up even the tiredest of eyes. I put a little light reflector on first as normal then just use my fingers to pat a layer of this wonder product in a v shape under the eye. This will give you those light and bright highlighted areas as we see on the likes of Kim Kardashian.

Tangle teaser aqua splash

I have always struggled with my hair! I am so head sore and yet my hair is so long and wavy that I need a very good brush to detangle my bed head.
I have recently got the new aqua splash from tangle teaser and I can't believe how something so simple had made such a difference to my life!!!
Just using this to comb through my hair in the shower whilst I have a hair mask on keeps it silky and tangle free and also seems to make the wave in my hair dry much nicer.
If you don't have one it's definately worth the investment!

Estée Lauder double wear

I get so many people asking me how to get their make up to stay on and I have to say there is no easy answer.

You can use a primer, moisturise well but really you need to choose a long stay base that is the right texture for your skin and without seeing you I can't advise you.

I have just started using the double wear foundation and concealers though and they are fantastic at staying where they should for a long period of time. They also come in cool, warm and neutral tones so there is a colour to suit everyone.

Apply with a brush for the best finish and avoid powder as it may become to heavy. If you have dry skin I would make sure you are well exfoliated but they can pretty much be used by all.

Bird egg influences at Illamasqua

Today I went to see the new products from Illamasqua and listen to a talk from Alex Box and David Horne. These guys are just genius, it was such an inspirational morning, I loved it so wanted to share it with you!

The new range is about I'm perfection versus imperfection..... Take away the apostrophe and you have the same word so can they have the same meaning......

The concept behind it is to take individuals with their imperfections and show the real beauty that this portrays within each character. The influence began with them looking at nature and roses which let to dandilions and feathers and bird eggs and the result, I thought, was great!

I love the Matte speckled nail varnish which is a one up from nail art, with a new concept of removing the glitz. This comes in 5 shades of pretty pastels with the original mushroom shade included.

I also love the feather effect liner that is so simple yet so effective and was created from the precision ink pens in black as white.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick

I have always really struggled with lipsticks, finding ones I like, that have intense colour and lasts more than 30 mins but finally I am in love with a full range!

There are 17 shades so there is something for everyone and I can relax in the knowledge that it is going to stay in place when I use it on a client. Added to that the shine is still present and the lips stay hydrated .
All in all a good buy! They are currently available at Selfridges but launch nationwide on Friday!

I wore the red on New Year's Eve and said to myself that it will be my colour for 2013 and when I looked to find the shade I saw it was no 13..... It's fate!
