Wreck My Dress Launch Party!

What is wreck my dress? The question not far from everybody’s lips at the moment…

Wreck my dress is a luxury  ‘5 Star’ makeover day with a difference. Rather than being told what you are able to do, instead, YOU are the boss. You decide where your experience is going to take you. If you decided maybe you wanted to leap from a plane at 20,000ft in your wedding dress? That’s not a problem. Or maybe you would prefer to be pampered by a team of professionals trained by our very own Cassie Lomas, Beauty Director with Wreck my Dress, at your very own photo or video shoot? It really is that diverse, and it really is all about you.

To celebrate this wonderfully creative venture, a host of celebrities and key industry creative’s gathered on the red carpet for the launch (Thursday 2nd May).
Among the enthralled audience, were names such as, Sheree Murphy, Kym Marsh, Jamie Lomas, Lucy Pargeter, Natalie Anderson, Gaynor Faye, Anthony Quinlan, Simon Gregson, and Gemma Merner,. Also in attendance, was one of the most famous dresses of recent years, a replica of ‘that dress’ worn by Pippa Midddleton at the Royal Wedding, one which gained worldwide acclaim at the time.  Inspired by the logo featured on the launch invitations, local designer Nadine Merabi crafted a unique dress especially for the occasion, which was worn by Emily Cunliffe and will be auctioned off in aid of the charity, Genesis.

With expectations high, the Wreck My Dress crew pulled out all the stops, and treated those in attendance to an adrenalin fueled show of stunts, martial arts and pyrotechnics. You could have been forgiven for thinking you had accidentally stepped onto the set of a Die Hard film!! But no, this was a fantastic showcase of talent. The evening was all about building a sense of intrigue, from the heart-thumping action, to the poignant beauty of ‘Rebecca’s Dress Stratos’; a moving, and inspiring piece that drew tears from the captivated audience as they heard the vows of unequivocal devotion and love. It was a truly sensory experience, and an evening that promises great things from the team at Wreck My Dress.

The CLMA events team beautified guests late into the night as the guests partied their makeup away, and we were more than willing to help them put it back on!
See exactly how far your ideas can go …. They sent a wedding dress into space and back!!!!!
